Senior Pastor
Jason Harris

Rev. Harris joined Central as the Director of Church Renewal in August of 2011 through a partnership with the New City Commons Foundation and was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Central in June of 2013.  Previously Rev. Harris served as the founding Campus Minister for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Northwestern University.  Rev. Harris began this ministry in 2005 after receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. 

Prior to attending seminary, Rev. Harris worked as a sales analyst for Morgan Stanley in New York City after graduating from Princeton University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Archaeology in 2000.  Rev. Harris met his wife, Ashley, at Princeton University where she studied economics and Japanese and subsequently received a J.D. degree from Columbia University Law School.  The Harris’s have four young children: Luke, Olivia, Eliza, and Charlotte.

Interim Executive Director
John Ward

John Ward is the Interim Executive Director for Central Presbyterian Church and Resound Project. His primary responsibility is ensuring that the mission and vision of Central Church and Resound Project are translated into effectively functioning ministries and operations.

Before joining Central, John had a distinguished business career, holding multiple senior-level positions. His longest tenure was twenty years at Accenture, where he was a managing director. John holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. John is also an elder at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas, where he and his wife, Mary Jo, have worshiped for 30 years. Their daughter Catherine (31) lives in Kips Bay and is a member of Central. Their son Joseph (24) lives in Dallas. John is an avid cyclist and coffee enthusiast.
